Roll Out the Red Carpet. Literally.

Movie night could use a little more drama.

The Red Carpet Table Runner turns the classic awards-show entrance into a playful quilted centerpiece, complete with a bold red “carpet,” black borders, pops of yellow, and square-in-a-square details inspired by all the lights and velvet-rope fanfare.

The best part? It looks much more dramatic than the piecing actually is.

Beginner-friendly construction uses simple strip piecing and square-in-a-square blocks, making this a fun smaller project when you want to make something eye-catching without committing to an entire quilt.

Use the classic red, black, yellow, and white palette to really sell the red-carpet theme, or ditch the dress code and give it your own color treatment.
