Sunwashed Shades: My Favorite Summer Color Palettes

Sunwashed Shades: My Favorite Summer Color Palettes

Summer is bursting with color inspiration. From bright florals and fresh produce to warm golden evenings and vibrant skies, this season offers endless combinations to inspire your next quilt, sewing project, or creative make. Sometimes all it takes is looking outside to find your next favorite palette.

I want to give you some color inspiration that you can put into practical use immediately.  Below are 5 different color palettes (fabric brand and names included!) as well as suggested projects for each palette.

Fresh, cooling blues that feel like sunshine, sea spray, and slow summer days.

Project Ideas

I love sharing these Summer color palettes and how they might spark ideas for something new! Unlike the Spring color palette, I unfortunately do not have the time to smush another project in right now. If I did though, my heart is leaning towards the Asteria Quilt by Alderwood Studio in the Heat Wave colors!
