Meet 'Cosmic Crush'

After lots of hard work and creative moments, I am so excited to finally be sharing my second quilt pattern, Cosmic Crush, with the quilting world.

After releasing my first pattern, Ascension, I was excited to continue exploring quilt design and creating something new. Designing quilt patterns has quickly become one of my favorite creative outlets, combining my love of quilting with digital design and problem solving.

Cosmic Crush originally began as a heart-centered design inspired by Valentine’s Day. As the pattern developed, I started exploring how well it paired with star blocks, and the design quickly evolved into something more playful, flexible, and open-ended.

One of my favorite things about this design is how versatile it is. From soft pastels to bold brights to scrappy, mixed fabrics, Cosmic Crush takes on a completely different personality depending on your fabric choices. It’s a pattern that invites experimentation and creativity, no matter your style or season.

Because of the straightforward construction, Cosmic Crush is approachable for beginners while still being enjoyable for experienced quilters. The design uses familiar patchwork techniques and comes together in a satisfying way as the stars and hearts emerge across the quilt top.

The pattern includes fabric requirements, step-by-step illustrated instructions, color inspiration, and a coloring page so you can plan your own version.
